The solar Net metering is a billing mechanism that credits solar energy system owners for the electricity they add to the grid.

Every owner can ensure a permission to install a Photo-voltaic plant of up to 5kWp power capacity and produce nearly 9000 kWh per year. In monetary terms, that is equivalent to 1700 euros per year based on electricity tariff in Cyprus.
