This 4.5kW system consists of 16 x AEG Polycrystalline panels of 280W, and a Fronius Primo 4kVa, 1-phase inverter.

Such a system produces about 7600kWh per year, yielding annual savings of €1600.

The installation on a tile roof with a concrete base, is done through the use of special long screws, that are fixed with epoxy rubber, which penetrate both the tile and the cement for additional fastening. The rubber ring is placed on the point where the tile is drilled, so as to seal it and prevent any moisture from entering.

The Net-Metering billing method is a mechanism that debits the amount of energy produced by the solar system and not used directly onto the household, for future use. For 1-phase households, the maximum size allowed to be installed is 4.16 kW, whereas for 3-phase households this limit is 10 kW.
