This  6kW  system consists  of  18  x  LG Monocrystalline panels of 335 W, and a Fronius Symo 6kVa, 3-phase inverter.

Such a system produces about 10200kWh per year, yielding annual savings of €2200.

In cases where the required space needed to install the panels cannot be found on the roof, or where the customer requests it, the system can also be places on any other surface that was legally constructed (referred to in the Building Permit). The panels of this project were placed on a pergola, horizontally, so that the optical destruction was kept to a minimum. The operation of the panels horizontally (0° inclination) offers a slightly reduced production of around 3%.

The Net-Metering billing method is a mechanism that debits the amount of energy produced by the solar system and not used directly onto the household, for future use. For 1-phase households, the maximum size allowed to be installed is 4.16 kW, whereas for 3-phase households this limit is 10 kW.
