This 6.3kW system consists of 17 x AEG Monocrystalline panels of 370W, and a Fronius Symo 7kVa, 3-phase inverter.
Such a system produces about 10600kWh per year, yielding annual savings of €2200.
The installation on a flat roof is done through the use of triangular aluminium bases, on which the panels are then fixed. The whole construction is supported on cement blocks and not the roof surface, so as to avoid any damage to the roof insulation. This triangular assembly gives the necessary inclination to the panels, in order to maximize their energy production.
The Net-Metering billing method is a mechanism that debits the amount of energy produced by the solar system and not used directly onto the household, for future use. For 1-phase households, the maximum size allowed to be installed is 4.16 kW, whereas for 3-phase households this limit is 10 kW.
